joy pockets #45

It's been a while since we've been on a river walk, and I miss it. Illness, then away from here, and now illness again which I appear to be catching, albeit a simple cold.

Finances are dire, always a stressful thing, right?

But amongst it all...

my dreams are sprouting wings
whatsapp is bringing my global friends closer
Miss 4 can blow her own nose

  1. Beautiful picture. Finances, you too? Stressful for sure.

    Hope you feel better soon.

  2. Oh I remember the first self-sufficient nose blow, made things much easier and less traumatic for my son. $ strain? Whats that about? I got it too.

  3. Mon, I just want you to know I've been catching up again...seems I only have so little time for blogs so when I find a moment I'm way behind. Anyway, I'm glad you are blogging here again. I missed it. Makes me want to blog about mama stuff again.

Pretty picture, by the way. Love the rich colors, and swans!

It's blocked from search engines. Haven't blogged much there, except a couple of recent catch-up posts.

  4. little ones being able to blow their own nose....that's a big deal!! lol My 4 year old still comes to mama.

dire finances, been dealing with that for a couple of years, now. I've either gotten better at handling the stress, or I've just gotten used to it. :/ I hope your stress is relieved soon.

I've tried 3 times now to download whatsapp, always getting a "failure" notice. I think I'm too far in the country, our connection is crap. boooo!!

  5. She can blow her own nose? Bless! Such a small thing but so helpful! Yes, finances are tight here - lots of list writing and juggling and budgeting going on in this house too. x

    ps Get well soon.

  6. Oh, yes, my 4 year old just came down with a cold and refuses to blow! I remember that I was like that as a child also. Good job that your little one has caught on!

I think many of us are in the same boat with $ issues. I have even considered rummaging the backs of our closets for mama and papa gifts this year...not sure what to do about that one!
