joy pockets #29

From chaotic frustration to intentional calm.

custard creams
(is this just a British cookie?)

working out a way to make art

the lone piece of ginger at the bottom of the cup

understanding that emotions are fleeting
.
the energy of the 'right' place to create

the way chilli flakes look sprinkled over coconut cream

a thai curry

  2. Yummy, yummy custard creams. One of my faves lol. Loving the look of that meal! Cuddles are the best. And hooray for a diminishing cough and skyping from the house- that's great!

  3. From chaos to calm--yang to yin...how well they do dance with each other ;). So glad the coughs are fading! Thai curry.....YUM and thank goodness for the impermanence of emotions. I have been on a quest to help my children understand that one too. It would have been nice if someone had taught me that one when I was younger (and maybe they did and age and experience once again is the only true teacher?)

  4. Those red pepper flakes really do look lovely on that dish. It's lovely when everything comes together and the floodgates of creativity open. I loved seeing your new art on Bohemian Twilight. Glad to hear the cough is on its way out, too! Have a beautiful weekend!

  5. Those are all wonderful. If you have the connection to notice the lone piece of ginger....if you know emotions are fleeting...you are doing just wonderfully.

  7. Hmm, never heard of custard creams. Chili flakes - Hubs says I'm addicted to them. :) So glad for cuddles and a diminishing cough, and that you worked out a way to create.

    Never heard of custard creams.

Yes, sometimes you just have to make a way to make art!

Yes, even though I understand emotions are fleeting I still have to remind myself daily in this journey of life.
