hiya from uk

A very quick quickie. Just wanted to check in with you all. I'm missing my blogging and have at least 15 posts in draft in my head! :)

Very glad we came for a few big reasons, but also it's been a nightmare. The Wildflower wants her secure home stuffs, was ill (2nd time ever), is teething, and is over-stimulated.

But ah well..... there's cheddar cheese on toast....

See you all soonish. Hoping to read that you're all up to much creative doings and ponderings.

  1. Creative bits - hmm, not so much: we're on our second throat virus in three weeks! Time to eat satsumas as if they're going out of fashion...

Time away from home is always a mixed bag for us too - bits of loveliness, but over-stimulation is a killer, isn't it? Have my fingers crossed for you all, and hope Wildflower is on the mend.

  3. Ooh Mon I hope it's dry where you are. We woke up to torrential rain here in North Yorkshire this morning and it hasn't stopped all day! Sending peaceful calming vibes for you and the wildflower.

  5. *waves hello*

Holidays with wee ones: yes challenging. Few things can be described as both nightmarish and yet worth it. Labour may be one of them.

But cheese is A Very Good Thing non?

  9. Thanks for checking in Mon. I think I speak for all of us when I say we've missed you. With all the upheaval and new germs in the air, it's no wonder she's ill. Poor honey. A good boost for the immune system right? I find that immediately setting up a routinely slightly resembling the home routine is the perfect way to start a long vacay away (I've done it so many times and it tends to work well though I also had the challenge of jetlag). I look forward to hearing about the big reasons you're enjoying your time there. See you back in bloggy land soon!

  12. Hope you've had a good time here in the UK despite the sickies and the weather. It's so hard with little ones - as much as we need and enjoy a break and the travel, really it can all be too much for them, especially if visiting family/friends are thrown into the mix as well. Hope she recovers from the bugs and the rest of the time goes smoothly.

  13. I miss your words so much! Hope you´re back soon. Really wish your Wildflower is better every minute!
I´ve been making dolls, translations, and yeah! one single day without creating something artistic, and i start craving it like crazy!
    Blessings!

  14. I keep checking my reader to see if you have a new post! lol. I know what you mean about posts in your head...I do, too, but I keep shoving them away because I don't have time for it right now. Focusing on other stuff--yes, very creative indeed--I'm writing my book (!) and doing lots of crafts. So much fun!
