Thankful Anyway Thursday

It's easy to be thankful for the good stuff, can you be thankful for the not so good?
(as serious or light-hearted as you like)

Solutions aren't always straight-forward.
Years can't be reduced to pros and cons.
I'm not a 'black or white' person.
Is it limbo, is it acceptance?
What am I left with?

I keep swinging... being thankful anyway.

Let me know (comment) if you've done your own Thankful Anyway and I'll add your link to this post. Grab the button up the top (right click & Save As) and a link back is always nice.

  4. i think those of us who've not always known what the "right" thing to do or say or be, or whatever, is - we're better off. life is so often ambiguous and confusing and chaotic. if we can be comfortable in the midst of all that...then yay! :) and yes what a beautiful photo~

  6. Beautiful photo. And I loved what you wrote before about swimming. Alas, when I try it, I get sick and dizzy for hours afterwards. But it is romantic to read about :-)

Your post brought a sadness to my mind, I don't know why. I hope you are happy.

  7. Gorgoeous picture and sad (yeah I thought so too), but poignant words. Presence. Be there in the good and in the bad.

  8. Oh, I feel like I am in limbo right now...

But then I realize it's only a portion of my life that feels that way...there are still some things that are straight-forward, and I'm trying to focus on those.

    Beautiful words, beautiful picture. Thanks.

    (I posted my TATh, too)
