what animal are you

Thank you everyone for your kinds thoughts about deda. Still doing well.

I've had a head-rush of topics to post! All coming in between 1-4am. Lots of psyche stuff, Living your Life stuff, Nature stuff..... So I will go for something easy today while my head organises the jumble.

This is one of my favourite personality tests.

I am a bat.

This is a decidedly nonconformist creature, for as an airborne personality, the bat tends to look down at the conventions of the ground animals. And yet, since it is not a true bird and having not mastered the art of smooth controlled flight, it often appears awkward in social situations. (Hence the term -- acting batty). But as compensation for this social ungainliness, many bat personalities sport a built-in radar, which enables them to intuitively read the motivations of others.

Identifying bat personalities is not difficult. Being nocturnal creatures, they come alive at night and can be spotted in underground clubs or dimly lit bars. They prefer the sanctuary of dark clothing and dark corners, and you'll never see a bat sporting a heavy tan. These are intelligent, spiritual, creative individuals who use their full range of senses (other than their poor eyesight) to carefully navigate their way through life.

Spot on, except now the dimly lit bars is just a dimly lit bedroom with restless baby, chuckle.

What are you?

  1. well, it was a 3 way tie i suppose between the bat, mountain goat and beaver. interesting. i couldn't really identify with the beaver, but i identified very strongly with certain aspects of the other two.

    great quiz. thanks.

  3. This is fun. Can't figure out whether I'm a bat or a deer (Libran indecisiveness kicks in once again). I certainly have the deer's nervous system!

  4. Hey, I really see horses.

Yes, you need to also use your own judgement for 'best fit'.

  5. I love this kind of stuff...test says I am a rooster or wildcat...have to admit I am partial to the wildcat myself (hard to relate to a rooster), and I dream about panthers occasionally...

  6. I am an owl (although it gave me the possibility of two others, I think the owl is the best choice.) It's a pretty good match I think.

  8. I meant to say that I RARELY see horses.

I was just wondering now how much this might relate to Chinese year animals. But mine is dog and here I'm bat..... Dog seems to relate to the general me whilst bat is the deeper psyche me.... I think...

  9. It gave me an option of a bat or otter with a possibility of a snake. Bat fit most closely though otter had a lot of my parenting traits right on. Snake wasn't very close at all.

  10. I was a p-p-p-penguin lol or owl. I relate more to the penguin over all, but would say I have the owl's spiritual and philosophical nature.

  12. It gave me shrew, otter or badger. I think shrew encompassed most of my negative traits but otter was closer in regards to most else.

    Interesting!

  13. I'm a tiger! Whoohoo! Well, I suppose with a name like 'Kat' you would expect something like that...

  14. Luciana - welcome! But if things appear perfect, then I'm doing something wrong! lol

Tara - no fun to tell people you are a shrew, ay? :D

Kat - well, that's nice and neat. I've been called batty, that's something right?

  15. Oh good lord, I'm either a gorilla, hippo, or walrus. I'm not feeling flattered.

I think walrus is closest, though that puts me with Roseanne Barr and Boris Yeltsin. Again, not feeling flattered here! :-)
